within the f/i-ch region business unit of a leading medical firm based in coppet, you will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the regional business results, budget and forecast preparation and capital investment analysis for the region. you will interface with both finance and the business, ensuring the appropriate finance support for the region head and other operations personnel, as well as working closely with the regional financial controller. your key responsibilities will be as follow: * analysis of regional operating results and kpi’s on a monthly basis and preparation of the monthly commentary to group. this includes analysis of sales and profit variances to plan and prior year, customer gains and losses, expense variances, etc., * providing input to region, functional and cost center managers to ensure compliance with budgets, * monitoring and leading the key region projects and ensuring milestones are met, * review and analyze capital investment proposals, * support switzerland finance to ensure reliability and consistency of data / management information, * participation in the annual budget preparation process and quarterly forecasting for the region (and leading certain components) (i/s, b/s c/f and kpi’s), * participate in key improvement initiatives (business intelligence, performance improvements, etc.), * assist the business in quantifying performance improvement opportunities (profit improvement measures, product profitability, improved reporting, etc.), * management and maintenance of various customer contracts to ensure compliance. |

2 to 5 years accounting, finance, business controlling/financial planning & analysis experience. ifrs knowledge and experience. strong excel skills; familiar with erp / reporting tool. |
